This was made back in the 1980's. It has the makers mark on the knife blade stamped D M P.
I traded this Knife back in the 1980's when I was set up at a show in Friendship Indiana.
The knife handle is made of beautiful Curly Maplewood that has brass tacks. The knife blade is Carbon Steel that has a little rust from the age that can be cleaned up with Steel wool. The Handmade knife shealth is strong Cowhide that is made of oil tanned cow hide
It is hand stitched with strong sinew thread. It has a loop so you can wear it on your belt loop. This is a beautiful Handmade piece that is one of a kind. Native american style
